Arthur Melo still dreaming of one Last Waltz with Barcelona

The midfielder is relaxed and hopes to be involved before the end of the season

Since Barcelona coach Quique Setien said Arthur Melo is committed to the club until his last day, the Brazilian has not played. Setien has not used him against Atletico, Villarreal or Espanyol. In fact, he's the only available midfielder who's not played a minute in the last three games -- Busquets, Riqui Puig, Rakitic, Vidal and Sergi Roberto have all been involved.

Despite that, Arthur remains firm on the message he transmitted to his teammates once his move to Juventus next season was made official: his commitment to Barça until the end of the campaign is unwavering.

The former Gremio player is living a strange experience with tranquility. From inside, the message from Setien has not varied: the team could need Arthur at any moment. Arthur is still training to his best every day, where he's never felt more warmth from his teammates.

The fact that these are his final weeks at Barcelona have not removed his motivation -- the opposite. Arthur is taking advantage of every session with the hope of getting another chance to play.

Given how everything happened, it's difficult to speak of a sweet send-off. But Arthur dreams of the Last Waltz. One final night of glory that he can be involved in. He is desperate to leave with another title, even if the reality is this: La Liga is in Real Madrid's hands and the Champions League, with all games now all or nothing, really tough.

But he could be important on a European night. Who knows, maybe against Napoli, or further down the line, he could have a role to play. What's clear is that Arthur is giving his all and hoping for a final chance to crown his Barça career.
