Quique Setien says Arthur Melo will still have a role to play for Barcelona despite the fact the midfielder will miss Saturday's trip to Real Valladolid with tonsilitis.
Arthur has not featured in the three games since his move to Juventus was confirmed and will not miss a fourth this weekend.
After the Valladolid game, Barça have just two league matches left and then the Champions League, with Setien saying Arthur will still get more minutes in a Blaugrana shirt.
"Arthur is training well," the coach said. "He's not had minutes but he's totally implicated with us despite his situation and what's happened to him this week (tonsilitis) is exceptional circumstances.
"I am sure he's going to be involved in more squads cand could get minutes. You have seen the squad has fewer players all the time, so Arthur's going to be necessary.
"We have games left in La Liga and the Champions League and he will have chances."
In fact, he could be needed in the Champions League against Napoli at Camp Nou next month, with both Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal both suspended.
