Arthur Melo scores his first-ever Barcelona goal in draw with Osasuna

The midfielder opened his account with a nice curled finish in the second half

Arthur Melo's back. The Brazilian international, who Barcelona fans fell in love with in his first few months with the club last season before his form dipped, was one of the stars against Osasuna on Saturday.

The Barça midfielder, who came on for Rafinha in the 52nd minute, came on and changed the game with his passing, but also scored the goal which moved Barça into a 2-1 lead in Pamplona.

It was a great goal that begun with Sergio Busquets winning the ball back for Carles Perez to pass to Arthur. The Brazilian then cut on to his right and curled home to score his first-ever goal for the Catalans.

FIRST BARÇA GOAL

Arthur joined the club in the summer of 2018 and was quickly compared to Xavi for his style. Goals, therefore, are not one of his strong points. He did score in preseason last year against Tottenham but Saturday's strike was his first official goal for the club.
