Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo says it's a huge honour to play for the national team even though he understands that Barcelona will defend his interests during FIFA's international breaks.
"I understand Barcelona's side, but for me and everyone it's an honour, a huge honour," he said. "It's no different for me. Whenever I can, I'm not going to measure my efforts, I am going to do everything I can to come with Brazil.
Arthur was speaking from Singapore, where Brazil are preparing for friendlies against Senegal and Nigeria over the coming week.
After a slow start to the season, Arthur has come good for Barcelona. He has already scored two goals and says he's trying to get forward more and more.
"I'm feeling better physically, more confident," he said. "I'm now anxious for my first goal. I'm working hard, giving my all to get that goal as soon as possible."
