The Barcelona midfielder travelled to Italy to pen his contract with the Old Lady

Arthur Melo is in Turin to take his medical and sign his contract with Juventus which will see him stay in Italy for five seasons for seven million euros a season, as part of a swap deal for Miralem Pjanic.

The Barcelona midfielder was accompanied by his lawyer, Vicente Fores, his father, Ailton, and his brother Paulo Henrique, who directed operations between the clubs to seal a deal worth over 70 million euros.

Robert Fernandez, Barca's former sporting director, also travelled, as he is a friend of Arthur after bringing him to Camp Nou in 2018 from Gremio.

One of the details which remains to be seen will be if Arthur stays at Barca beyond June 30 or if he goes to join the Italians on that date.
