The midfielder is out of Saturday's game vs. Real Sociedad with an ankle injury

Barcelona coach Quique Setien has suffered another setback. Arthur Melo has joined the list of players he already has out injured -- Ousmane Dembele, Sergi Roberto and Luis Suarez.

Arthur missed training on Friday with an ankle problem he picked up on Thursday and will not feature against Real Sociedad this weekend. The midfielder's place in the squad has been taken by Riqui Puig.

Barça have not revealed how long he will be absent for: "Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo has an ankle problem and is undergoing treatment with Dr.Ramon Cugat's team and the player's recovery will dictate his return."

Coach Setien later said: "In principle, he has some pain in the ankle and has had some treatment today. Now we are pending how it evolves with the treatment. I don't know. We have to see how it evolves. I can't say more at the moment."
