There is interest in Barcelona goalkeeper Neto, and it comes from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. It’s not the first time they’ve been interested in the Blaugrana forward and they are keen to reactivate their interest.
The Brazilian was on Arsenal’s agenda this summer, as they looked to provide competition for Leno. Combing the market, the Brazilian’s name was on the table and they started conversations with Barca, but did not reach a deal. Instead they signed Alex Runarsson. However things are not going well with that and per Sky Sports, they want Neto again.
Arsenal want to loan him with an option to buy. Barcelona only want a purchase-now deal for 21 million euros. The Gunners know it’s unlikely they will get him.
