Ariedo Braida files lawsuit against FC Barcelona over his dismissal
Barça let him go in August even though his contract ran until 2022
Ariedo Braida has filed a lawsuit against FC Barcelona for unfair dismissal, according to the show ‘El Club de la Mitjanit’ on Radio Catalunya.
According to the information, Barça released Braida from his contract on Aug. 12 even though it ran until 2022. On that day, Braida was at the club's offices with his lawyer, Juan de Dios Crespo, who also assisted Paris Saint-Germain in the payment of Neymar's release clause.
During that meeting, Barcelona set out a list of conditions which would accompany Braida's exit from the club, but he wasn't happy with them and has decided to take proceedings to court.
The lawsuit comes at a time when Barcelona also have one open with Neymar. They tried to reach an agreement out of court with the Brazilian over the non-payment of a loyalty bonus, but were unable to do so.
