Barça's French forward has played more matches than his rivals and scored more goals than either of the other two

FC Barcelona's big-money signing last summer, Antoine Griezmann, has had a much better season than Eden Hazard (Real Madrid) and Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid). All three LaLiga giants made significant additions to their frontlines but Griezmann leads the way in matches played, minutes played, most goals scored and less time missed through injury.

Griezmann arrived at Barça for €120m, Real Madrid paid €115m for Hazard and Atletico parted with €126m to bring Felix to their team.

PERFORMANCE

One year on and Griezmann stands out at the best signing of the three. He's played 35 matches this season. Felix has 27 games to his name and Hazard trails behind on just 16.

In terms of goals, once again Griezmann is top of the pile. He's scored 9 goals, ahead of Felix on 6 and Hazard on just 1. Unsurprisingly, Griezmann has also accumulated more minutes than the other two. He's played 2,558 minutes for Barça ahead of 1,746 for Felix and 1,086 for Hazard.

When it comes to assists, Hazard leads the way. Despite playing considerably less, the Belgian has six assists. Griezmann has four and Felix just the one. If you combine the assists and goals, Griezmann has the highest percentage of goal contributions. Antoine has 15%, Félix (13%) and Hazard (10%).

When you look at the percentage of minutes played, Griezmann sits at 75%, Felix at 51% and Hazard at 32%.

GAMES MISSED DUE TO INJURY

Unsurprisingly, Hazard has missed the most matches due to injury with 17. Diego Simeone hasn't been able to call upon on Felix for 10 matches whereas Griezmann has only missed two matches - and final two of the season.

The only player out of the three to miss a game due to suspension was Joao Felix after picking up five bookings.

NUMBERS

In terms of investment, it's cost Barça €3.5m per match Griezmann has played and cost €13.3m per goal scored. For Felix, it's €4.6m (per match) and €21m per goal. And for Hazard, it's €7.1m and €115m per goal.

Although there are other key factors involved when judging a player's performances and value to a team, a lot more will be expected from all three next season.
