Anthony Marial could hold the key to Morata's Barcelona move

The Man Utd striker's been linked with a loan to Juventus this month

A move involving three parties: Alvaro Morata's move to Barcelona could be linked to Antony Martial's departure from Manchester United.

The French forward's days are numbered at Old Trafford and Juventus are one of the teams trying to sign him before the end of January.

Martial has said he wants to leave United this month and this week there has been a very public falling out with coach Ralf Ragnick.

United are looking for certain conditions to let him leave, though. They want the team he moves to pay his fully salary and a loan fee, which Goal even suggest could be as much as €7 million.

The player wants to try his luck away from the Premier League. There are three teams best placed to sign him: Juve, Barça and Sevilla.

The Italian side have intensified contact with Martial's people to try and push through a loan move following a season-ending injury for Chiesa.

Meanwhile, Xavi wants Barça to sign a striker this month and Morata is the priority. He's on loan at Juve from Atletico Madrid and it won't be easy to get him out of Turin, especially after Chiesa's injury.

That's how Martial could be key. If Juve end up signing him, they could allow Morata to cut his loan short and move to Camp Nou before the month ends.
