Bori Fati did not hold back in an interview with Cope on Tuesday

Bori Fati showed his indignation at the lack of minutes Ansu Fati is getting at FC Barcelona. The forward's father revealed that he has advised the player to move on, but "Ansu wants to stay at Barça."

He said: "If it were up to me, I would take him away from Barça but he wants to stay. We are talking about Barça's '10′, a Spanish national team international and a boy who came out of La Masia. Ansu doesn't want to sign for another club but I want to see him succeed.

"I spoke to Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff and they told me that he is part of the club's heritage and that they want Ansu. The first thing Ansu told Jorge Mendes was that he is from Barça and he is not leaving Barça. I thought otherwise, but he said 'Dad, I don't agree. I want to be here.'"

The player, unlike Bori, does not want to listen to offers from Real Madrid, as he said on Cadena COPE: "He is very culé, he was trained at La Masia. Ansu wouldn't accept to go to Madrid, I can't put him where he doesn't want to go."

Bori's displeasure comes because "Ansu deserves to play more minutes, it can't be that he plays one or two per game." He pointed out that "as a father I'm angry" and that "a year ago we had offers, but he didn't want to listen to them."

The father clarified that he is not asking for a starting place, but that he should play a more important role. He even spoke well of Xavi, who he described as "a good guy" and that he understands him: "When I spoke to him, he told me that the boy needs to strengthen his legs and he has done so. Xavi was our idol, we had photos of him when we were in Sevilla."

Meeting

On his meeting with Alemany and Cruyff, Bori said that "Mateu is always sincere and tells us that Ansu is Barça's heritage," but that "they can give mass and tell me that it is Xavi's decision."

Physically, the player's father said that "he is very well, like a bull." Bori was grateful that Barça has dedicated a specific plan to him and that "now he has more speed than before."

His words were also harsh towards Luis Enrique, the former Spain coach, and that the player "had a bad time" at the World Cup: "How can it be that he didn't even warm up against Costa Rica with the team winning 7-0? I would have preferred him not to go to the World Cup."
