The young forward has penned a new deal before he turns 19 years of age

Ansu Fati has always shown a strong link with his family. Behind the player his father, mother and five siblings have supported him. They were all at the event to mark his contract renewal today, until 2027.

The forward has always made clear his dream is to triumph here, despite fatter economic offers from elsewhere.

He was with his mother Lurdes, sisters Djuco and Djeny, brother Braima, little brother Miguel, his sister Angela and father Bori, in the photo.

Ansu showed he has his feet on the ground and credited his family with that. They have always been by his side, since he signed as a 10 year old for Barca in 2012, from Sevilla. When Ansu was six the family arrived in Seville from Guinea Bissau.

Ansu debuted for Barca in August 2019 with 16 years, 9 months and 25 days. The rest is history.

After the event Ansu stopped by a group of fans from Guinea Bissau, who had headed to Camp Nou for the event. “Visca Barca, viscera Catalunya and visca Ansu Fati,” they shouted after singing some songs from their country.
