Ansu Fati will spend another day in hospital after meniscus surgery
The forward will be without for around four months with a knee injury
Ansu Fati was operated on at the Quirón Clinic in Barcelona after tearing the meniscus in his left knee in the 5-2 win against Real Betis.
The surgery was carried out by the Dr. Ramon Cugat under the supervision of Barça's medical staff. The club later announced the recovery time will be around four months.
Ansu, 18, was scheduled to leave the Clinic on Tuesday. However, after a visit from Dr. Cugat, the decision has been made for him to remain under observation for another day.
Everything went as planned with the operation but there is no need to rush things and take risks. Ansu is a young player who is still growing, so they want to ensure there are no complications down the line.
