The Barça youngster replaced his teammate Carles Perez, ruled out through injury, and could be involved in their next match

FC Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati has completed his first training session as a member of Spain's U21 squad. The speedy winger, whose documentation is now fully processed, replaces another Barça alumni in Carles Perez.

It was Luis de la Fuente's first chance to look at the winger in action ahead of the match against Montenegro.

Perez was ruled out through injury which opened the door for Ansu to make his debut in Spain's colours.

The 16-year-old was officially made available for selection from Thursday after FIFA approved his documentation.
