Ansu Fati scored 9,000th goal of Barça's history vs Villarreal

Lionel Messi has accounted for seven percent of the club's goals

Ansu Fati is star and he showed it once again at Villarreal's La Ceramica. The youngster came on for 18 minutes but that was all he needed to score another goal and continue writing his name in Barcelona's history.

The 17-year-old scored the fourth goal in the 4-1 win and the goal was the 9,000th in Barça's history. It was a significant goal that Lionel Messi thought he'd scored moments before only to see VAR rule it out for an offside against Arturo Vidal in the build up. It was Ansu's sixth goal in La Liga this season.

Barça revealed that it was the 9,000th goal in the club's history, although that doesn't include Catalan competitions, such as the Catalan Super Cup and the Copa Catalunya, among others.

Of those 9,000 goals, Lionel Messi (630) has scored the most by far -- seven percent of the total. César (232) and Luis Suárez and Kubala (both 194) follow him.

Remember that the first official goal scored by Barça was scored by Roma Forns on April 5, 1909 in Spanish Championship game against Español de Madrid.
