Ansu Fati returns to Barça training with September return date lined up
The forward joined in with the rest of the group for Tuesday's training session
Ansu Fati is now in the final stages of his recovery. The FC Barcelona La Masia graduate joined in with part of this morning's training session on Pitch 2 of the Joan Gamper Training Ground, and a return to first team action is now just around the corner.
After almost eight months out, in which he underwent four operations at the hands of various surgeons, Fati started pitch work at the beginning of August. Just two games into the season, he is already training with the rest of the first team squad. This is good news for Ronald Koeman and Barcelona's fans.
He looks set to make his first appearance of the season away to Sevilla in mid-September.
