Ansu Fati leads the list of youngest scorers in the Champions League
The Barça forward scored his first European goal in the 2-1 win against Inter
Ansu Fati made history on Dec. 10, 2019 when he scored for Barcelona against Inter Milan to become the youngest ever player to score in the Champions League.
The forward, whose goal sealed a 2-1 win, now holds the record at an age of 17 years and 40 days. He takes the record from Peter Ofori-Quaye, who had held it since October 1997.
It was Ansu's third Champions League appearance. He had previously played 59 minutes against Borussia Dortmund and 25 against Slavia Prague.
In the game against Dortmund, he became the youngest player to represent Barça in the Champions League, although he did not break the competition record, held by Céléstine Babayaro.
