Four Barça players appear on the list put together by Transfermarkt valuations

Transfermarkt have compiled a list of the most expensive players of each age, between 16 and 40, with four Barcelona players appearing on the list.

Lionel Messi is the most expensive valuable played aged 32, while teammate and friend Luis Suarez tops the list of 33-year-olds based on market value.

Meanwhile, Ansu Fati is the most expensive 17-year-old and summer signing Frenkie de Jong is said to be worth more than any other 22-year-old.

Ansu has a market value of 40 million euros, according to the website, while De Jong is valued at 90 million -- more than Barça paid for him last summer.

The Dutch midfielder is followed in his age category by Lautaro Martinez, the Inter striker desired by Barça, whose value is placed at 80 million.

Messi's valued at 140 million and Suarez, currently sidelined with a knee problem until the end of April, is said to be worth 40 million now.
