It’s very tough times at Barcelona after the Bayern smackdown but there is one shred of good news.
Ansu Fati has completed a whole training session for the first time since his injury.
He’s been back with the group for a while for parts of sessions, and has more and more confidence, with his knee feeling stronger.
His evolution has been good and he took this big step forward on Wednesday. It was not an especially intense session, but still, it’s good news.
At this point it’s almost certainly ruled out that he will feature on Monday against Granada, but maybe he will against Cadiz on Thursday 23, Levante on the 26th, Benfica on the 29th and Atletico on the 2nd of October, before the international break.
Koeman has said he won’t run any risks, but the feelings are good.
