Another meeting with Ilaix's representatives ends without an agreement

Ramon Planes and Mateo Alemany met the player's agents this afternoon

There is still no agreement between FC Barcelona and Ilaix Moriba, who has not travelled with the first team squad to the pre-season training camp in Germany.

Today was the third meeting between Ilaix Moriba's agents and FC Barcelona, represented by technical secretary Ramon Planes and director of football Mateo Alemany. The meeting took place at the Joan Gamper Training Ground in Sant Joan Despí, and concluded without an agreement being reached. The player's agents and FC Barcelona have agreed to meet again to continue negotiations, although no date has yet been set for this fourth meeting. It is understood that both parties are currently far apart in their valuations, with Ilaix demanding more than Barça can currently afford given their precarious financial situation.

His contract expires in June 2022

The player's current deal expires in June 2022. For the time being, having not been called up to the first team's pre-season training camp, he continues to train with Barça B.
