The RB Leipzig defender is suddenly not needed in Germany and could be moved on

Barcelona are still looking for a back-up left back for Jordi Alba. The priority is Marcos Alonso but Chelsea have not agreed on a deal with Barca yet.

One of the options is RB Leipzig’s Angelino, who will leave the club this summer. Leipzig have decided to give German international David Raum that spot. Various sides are interested in the player, who has been offered to Barcelona.

He’s been on the Catalan side’s watchlist in the past but they never came to a deal. He joined Leipzig in 2021 for 18m euros from Man City and he has played well in the past few seasons. He is an attacking full-back who is always involved.

Angelino’s position has changed since Raum’s arrival. Leipzig are interested in moving him on, even on loan with an option to buy. Various German sides have asked to negotiate and Barcelona are paying attention to what’s happening.
