The duo have agreed their moves to Barcelona at the end of their contracts

Now the season is officially over, work has begun in earnest on the next campaign. Barcelona’s board have a lot of work ahead of them to plan the squad. There are a lot of files on the table, in terms of ins and outs. The team has done their homework so far with two players: Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie. 

The Danish defender from Chelsea and the Ivorian midfielder from Inter Milan will join on free transfers after their contracts expire in June and they are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Christensen, 26, has played 34 games this season, a total of 2,583 minutes. He has two goals, an assist and just two yellow cards. He reinforces a defence set to light themselves of Lenglet, Mingueza and Umtiti.

Kessie arrives as a Serie A champion, scoring seven goals and providing an assist in a season where he played 39 times, with 2,900 minutes under his belt.
