He also confirms the clause unveiled by ESPN on Wednesday that would allow the pair to leave on a free transfer if they cannot be signed. Both Christensen and Kessie, however, hope to be FC Barcelona players for many years to come.
As SPORT has learned, Barça have already sent the relevant documentation to the LaLiga and the criteria are being fine-tuned. There has been good communication between Barça and LaLiga and they believe that all the issues will be resolved by Friday and that on Saturday morning all the registrations will be officially formalised.
