“De Ligt would like to go too, I spoke a lot with both of them,” said Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
He was referring to Frenkie de Jong’s move to Barcelona, his former side, and revealed that the highly-rated defender is also interested.
Onana answered De Jong’s questions about the Catalan club and played a part in the midfielder’s decision to sign - he will arrive in the summer.
The keeper was speaking after Real Madrid’s 2-1 win at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
“The result is unjust but we have to give everything at the Bernabeu,” said Onana. “If they beat us it will be because they are better, not because we had any fear.
