The Juventus and Atletico Madrid striker wants to come back to Spain if it's an option

Alvaro Morata was one of the players that Xavi Hernandez wanted to bring to Barcelona in the January transfer market.

The Juventus striker had permission to leave Italy but there was no deal with Atletico Madrid who own him and in the end the deal broke down.

Morata would like to return to Spain this summer and want Barcelona to make it known as soon as possible whether they still want him. The Italian club might sign Morata permanently if Atletico lower their option on him.

Morata is still having game time at Juventus despite the signing of Vlahovic and their coach Massimiliano Allegri is very satisfied with his performance level. The idea is that Juventus can sign him for a fee as low as €15 million.

If there is no agreement, then he can return to Atletico. Arsenal are also interested in signing Morata.

The striker has a year left on his deal with Atletico and the Rojiblancos want to make money from the sale, but Morata would like to end his career in Spain.

Barcelona is his absolute priority and he is paying close attention to what happens with Haaland. For now he will wait for the Blaugrana to make contact and he will keep in touch with Xavi to see what could happen next summer.
