Javier Tebas has revealed that a verdict will be announced within the next few days

SPORT revealed last Friday that Atletico Madrid had reported FC Barcelona to the LaLiga committee. They believe the move for Antoine Griezmann wasn't carried out correctly and a verdict will be announced within the next 15 days.

LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, revealed on Onda Cero's 'El Transistor' programme that SPORT's story was correct. Atletico Madrid have made an official complaint about Griezmann's transfer to Barça. The president also revealed that a decision will be made soon on the matter.

As far as we have discovered, the complaint is in regards to the legality of the move rather than holding onto the player's license. Atletico don't believe they would be able to stop Griezmann from appearing for Barça despite the fact they believe they are out of pocket by €80m.

The case has been handed over to the Licenses Committee. A verdict will be announced within 15 days. They must decide whether or not to prevent Griezmann from having a license to play for Barça.

This is alongside the investigation opened by the RFEF and its own Competitions Committee. As revealed by SPORT, it's very unlikely that the club will face any serious punishment.

And finally, if Atletico take Barça to court over claims they are owed €80m.
