Alex Collado plays his first minutes of the season
The Barca B forward was used by the bench by Quique Setien on Saturday
Alex Collado played his first minutes of the season for Barcelona. The B team forward replaced Ansu Fati with four minutes to go and worked on the right flank but was unable to get into the game as the Catalans lost 2-1 at Mestalla.
He had not played with the first team since debuting at Balaidos on May 4, 2019. Then he replaced Ousmane Dembele, who was injured.
Carles Perez's absence from the squad opened a spot for Collado. The Granollers attacker is close to signing for Roma and if Barca don't bring someone in, there may be more chances for Collado.
This was Quique Setien's first defeat and Madrid can go ahead in La Liga if they beat Valladolid at the Nuevo Zorrilla.
