Carles Aleña spoke to RAC1's 'Tu Diras' programme about his lack of playing time at FC Barcelona. "There isn't any reason for dropping me after Bilbao. No player likes to be left out. It was the coaching staff's decision and of course it affects the player."
Despite the setback, Aleña is determined to force his way back into the coach's plans. "I believe I've got the chance to earn a spot in the starting eleven. Everyone who is part of the squad is important. I'm confident I can turn the situation around."
The La Masia graduate was called up by Luis de la Fuente for Spain U21s. He started the second of the two matches.
