Al Khelaïfi: "Neymar and Mbappe both want to stay with us at PSG"
The PSG president is confident the duo will commit their future to the French club
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaïfi says talks have started with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over new deals and that both players want to stay.
Neymar and Mbappe cost PSG a combined €400 million but both are out of contract in 2022 and could potentially walk away for free in just over 18 months.
Mbappe has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, while Barcelona have tried to re-sign Neymar in the past.
“We have begun to talk with Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, the discussions will remain confidential but I am very confident,” Nasser al-Khelaifi told RMC. “They both want to stay with us at PSG.”
Meanwhile, Neymar has also said leaving PSG has not passed through his mind just one week after saying he wants to play with Lionel Messi next season.
