Munir will be allowed to leave Barcelona as he's not in Valverde's plans

Valencia had him on loan but will not execute option to make deal permanent

Ajax are interested in Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi. Munir, who spent the season on loan at Valencia, has returned to Camp Nou but the club are looking to move him on again, with the Dutch press reporting Ajax are keen to sign him.

The Eredivisie side were interested in signing the Spanish striker last summer before he eventually agreed a season-long loan move to Valencia. Los Che have an option to sign him for 12 million euros before the end of June but everything suggests they will not take up that clause.

Therefore, the forward is set to return to Barça, although that will not be his final destination. Munir is not in new coach Erensto Valverde's plans and Barcelona will look to move him on again, be that on loan or a permanent deal.

For now, Ajax are the only side to show an interest in Munir, who played 37 games and scored seven goals for Valencia. However, there's likely to be more interest from across Europe.
