Aguero talks about Barça links on his Twitch stream: Let's hold on for a bit...
The striker is out of contract with Manchester City at the end of the season
Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has been linked with Barcelona as a possible free transfer this summer following Joan Laporta's return as the Catalan club's president.
This weekend, during his usual Twitch stream, Augero mentioned the rumours placing him at Barça, saying: "I see everyone writing Barça, Barça, Barça.... let's hold on for a bit, we're still at City."
Aguero has always been very open on his Twitch streams about his life and his future and when asked by the streamer Ibai Llanos if he would like to play with Lionel Messi next season said: "Who wouldn't like to play with Messi?"
The Argentina striker, 32, is out of contract in the summer and hasn't yet decided what his next move will be, whether he will renew with City or look for a new challenge elsewhere.
Aguero's participation has been dramatically reduced this season due to injuries and contracting coronavirus. His friendship with Messi is very public and he's an interesting option for Barça on a free.
