Agent Jorge Mendes adds Barça winger Abde to his list of clients

Abde enjoyed time with the first team earlier this season but returned to the B team in January

Last week, Barcelona president Joan Laporta and the club's sporting directorate met with Jorge Mendes and his right-hand man in a restaurant in the Catalan city to talk about several players.

The Portuguese agent represents Ansu Fati, Adama Traoré, Nico González, Alejandro Balde and Trincao, who is on loan at Wolverhampton. To that list can now be added Abde, the Barça B winger, and goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, on loan at Galatasaray.

Both Abde and Peña are represented by Integral Advising Football, owned by agent Javi Garrido, that for a while now has been collaborating with Mendes. It's for that reason that the Portuguese will not play an important role in deciding Abde's future this summer.

The winger has had a great first season at Camp Nou after joining from Hercules. His performances caught the attention of Xavi, who gave him first-team minutes in November and December.

Barça believe he has a lot of potential and expect offers in the summer. Alongside Mendes, the club and player will now have to make a decision on his next step. There are various options on the table: another season at Barça B, a loan move or a transfer if a good offer arrives for all parties.
