The former Barça man, now at Wolves, won't allow his past to stop him from joining another of Spain's elite sides

Former La Masia graduate and current star for Wolves, Adama Traore, will face Spanish opposition this Thursday when he takes on Espanyol in the Europa League. Despite his Barça roots, they won't ever stop him from choosing a club in the future - even if that team was Real Madrid.

"It was my decision but factors at Barcelona influenced that," Traore admitted in an interview with La Vanguardia. "There were certain things I didn't like and I had issues with those in charge at the time. I decided to leave. I'll explain those reasons in the future but at the moment I'll keep them to myself."

When asked if he would ever sign for Barça's fierce rivals, Real Madrid, his response was brutally honest. "I wouldn't have a problem with that. I won't close the door on anything. Right now I'm very happy where I am and the team is doing fantastically well. But when it comes time to consider my future, I don't have any problem going to Madrid. It'll be something I decide along with my family."

Traore doesn't habour any grudges against Barça either. "For certain decisions made by certain people, it doesn't mean I have a problem with the club. I have a lot more good memories there than bad ones."
