AC Milan won't face Barça in Joan Gamper Trophy after Roma drop out

The Catalan club are finding it hard to find an opponent for the annual fixture

FC Barcelona are struggling to find a rival to take part in this season's Joan Gamper Trophy.

After Roma pulled out of the fixture last week, which includes games for the men's and women's teams, Baçr have been scrambling for a replacement.

They seemed to have found one in AC Milan, but the Italian champions will not be involved, either.

Several media had reported that Milan would take part but now, per reports in Italy, that will not be the case.

Therefore, Barça have still not found anyone to face their two teams on August 6 and, while there is still a month to go, most teams now have their preseason plans in place.
