AC Milan told that Barça defender Todibo will cost them 12 million euros

AC Milan now know how much young France defender Jean-Clair Todibo will cost. According to various reports in the Italian media, a meeting between the club's delegates with Barcelona -- which SPORT reported first -- ended with a price on the table. 

Todibo, who signed for Barcelona for one million euros, plus two more in add-ons, could leave the club for 12 million. Despite having a release clause fixed at 150 million and a contract until 2023, the club are prepared to sell for much less. 

The France U20 international joined last January but could leave this January having failed to convince Ernesto Valverde, who is happy to have Barça B's Ronald Araujo as his fourth choice centre-back -- behind Pique, Lenglet and Umtiti. 

Milan, however, are not alone in the fight for Todibo. German side Bayer Leverkusen were the first to show an interest but they are not keen on Barça's desire for a buyback clause to be included in the deal. 

Let's see if Serie A side Milan are more receptive to that.
