The midfielder could return to training with the French club this week

Adrien Rabiot could return to training with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. After being frozen out of the team and banned from playing games -- even relegated to train with the reserves -- it seems PSG could now relent and let him come back into the first team group.

According to the newspaper L'Equipe on Wednesday, PSG will train in the afternoon and, save a late U-turn, Rabiot will take part in the session. After refusing to renew his contract, the France midfielder was kicked out of the first team last Decemeber and since Dec. 18 has been training with the second team.

It was a decision taken by the club's hierarchy. Coach Thomas Tuchel has always said he'd be open to bringing Rabiot back into the fold -- although he has opposition in the form of sporting director Antero Henrique. Now it seems that PSG, at the very least, will allow Rabiot to train with the first team.
