Jordi Farré, Víctor Font and Lluís Fernández-Alà have all offered their support to the movement as have various opinion groups

The motion of 'no confidence' against Josep Maria Bartomeu's leadership is now a reality. The initiative has the support of future Barça presidential candidates Victor Font, Jordi Farre and Lluis Fernandez-Ala as well as eight opinion groups from Barcelona.

It was presented this Friday morning asking for the "immediate resignation of the current board of directors" and called for Barça season ticket holders to join this motion "due to the very, very complicated moment the club is currently going through".

Marc Dutch, who is the president of 'Manifest Blaugrana', is who spoke in the name of the three candidates previously mentioned as well as eight opinion groups: Compromissaris FCB, Dignitat Blaugrana, El Cor Blaugrana, El Senyor Ramon, La Resistència del Palau, Manifest Blaugrana, Seguiment FCB and #Noiestwitterbarça. According to Dutch, Joan Laporta neither supported nor was against the motion whereas Agustí Benedito made it clear he wouldn't be part of the movement.

"We are asking for the immediate resignation of the entire board of directors at FC Barcelona. The objective of this motion is to force everyone in power to leave and be replaced for the well being of the club," Dutch said.

The vote of no confidence must reach the necessary 16,000 signatures. This might prove difficult to attain in the middle of a pandemic.
