Barça have one week to avoid losing Robert Navarro

The teenager has various offers to leave the club before turning 16

Those that follow Barcelona's youth teams know that Robert Navarro is one of the stars. He's having a spectacular season and a number of clubs are interested in signing him. On April 12, he turns 16 and he must decide whether to renew with Barça or to try his luck elsewhere.

Manchester City are best placed to sign him. The English side have followed him for months and have made a tempting sporting and economic offer. On the other side, Barça haven't yet made a firm offer for Navarro to renew. The player wants to know the Catalan club's future plans for him before taking a decision.

The problem is, incomprehensibly, he doesn't have a release clause. Therefore, clubs like City, Juventus, Monaco and Arsenal want to sign him before he turns 16. That would mean they only have to pay formation rights.

In the coming days, there will be meetings to decide Navarro's future. The MIC tournament has shown that he's miles ahead of the other players in his age group and that Barça must do everything to keep hold of him. President Josep Maria Bartomeu saw his talent in the final.
