Cristiano Ronaldo kicks off against Ballon d'Or on Instagram

The Portuguese forward is not happy after claims from Pascal Ferre, an organiser

During the Ballon d’Or gala Cristiano Ronaldo put a message on his Instagram account where he kicked off against France Football and the organisation of the trophy.

He was angry with Pascal Ferre, whom he accuses of lying in some quotes where he claimed the Portuguese had said his only ambition was to win more Ballon d’Ors than Lionel Messi.

“Pascal Ferre lied and used my name to promote himself and the publication for which he worked,” wrote Cristiano.

“It’s unacceptable that the person in charge of a prize so prestigious can lie in this way, in a lack of respect for someone who has always respected France Football and the Ballon d’Or. And he lied again today, justifying my absence at the gala with a supposed quarantine that doesn’t exist.

“I always want to congratulate those who win … and I do it because I’m not against anyone, I always win for myself and the clubs I represent. I win for myself and for those who love me.”
