Atletico Madrid look set to make a second big money signing this summer
An agent has offered Christian Eriksen to Atletico as an alternative to James Rodriguez
Atlético Madrid are preparing to splash the cash once again before the transfer window closes. The latest name on that list of superstar signings is that of Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen.
The Spurs man has been offered to Diego Simeone should a move for James Rodriguez prove to be unsuccessful.
According to the Madrid press, a representative from Tottenham met with Gil Marin to discuss a potential move for Eriksen. Spurs want around €60m-€70m for the midfielder who has so far refused to extend his contract at the club.
At 27, Eriksen is about to enter the prime of his career and various teams have expressed an interest in his signing.
The Danish midfielder is currently on tour with Tottenham although he continues to work away from the main group after having minor surgery in the summer.
