Per Sky Sports, the PSG forward has agreed to join the Rojiblancos

Cholo Simeone will finally have a replacement for Diego Costa, per Sky Sports. PSG forward Edinson Cavani has agreed to join Atletico Madrid. His contract ends in the summer and they have moved for him at a cut price.

Cavani has agreed a three year contract. The only doubt is when he will arrive. Simeone wants a new forward now but he would come for free in the summer. Atletico want to find the most economic deal, hoping to get through until the end of the season. Cavani has scoed 387 goals in 661 games in his career for Palermo, Napoli, PSG and Uruguay.
