Uruguay's coronavirus positive a concern for Atletico Madrid
They have three players in the team and hope they are not infected
Absences for coronavirus is common in modern football under the new normality. There is another case in Uruguay, left back Matias Vinas, although it could have repercussions in La Liga.
Atletico Madrid are worried because they have three players in the Uruguay squad, Luis Suarez, Lucas Torreira and Jose Maria Gimenez. The latter has already had coronavirus so should not be affected.
Oscar Tabarez's side will face Brazil and then players will return home. Next weekend Atletico Madrid welcome Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano.
After the positive, Vinas was isolated from the rest of the group and he has no symptoms. Atletico already have Hector Herrer and Savic out injured with muscle problems, adding to Diego Costa, Carrasco, Vitolo and Vrsjalko.
