The Daily Mail says the French club are aiming to poach Atletico's star man
Atletico Madrid are one of the strong candidates to win La Liga this season. One of the reasons is goalkeeper Jan Oblak, one of the finest stoppers in the world.
He has let in just five goals in 12 league games, and has become a target for PSG, according to the Daily Mail.
The Slovenian, who was also on Chelsea’s wishlist, is 27, while Keylor Navas, their current goalkeeper, is 34 and reaching the final years of his career.
Clearly Atletico have no intention of losing one of their stars in January but might be available to negotiate next summer. Oblak has one of the highest salaries in the squad, between 10-12 million euros per season, and they could use the cash boost after the coronavirus crisis.
