The Uruguayan is injured and there are suspensions for the Rojiblancos too
Luis Suarez has suffered a muscle injury in his left leg. After feeling pain there on Wednesday in training he was subject to medical tests by Atletico Madrid and they confirmed the Uruguayan international’s injury.
It remains to be seen how severe it is but the likelihood is that he cannot play in the Liga league leaders’s next fixtures, bad news for Diego Simeone’s side.
Suarez is the team’s top scorer with 19 goals and has been a crucial part of the team’s title tilt.
