Atletico close in on signing of Benfica forward Iván Saponjic
The forward stands out for his frame and has been compared to Mandzukic
Following the arrival of Joao Félix and the looming departure of Kalinic, Atletico Madrid are looking for a fourth forward to add to their squad.
They think they their man in the form of Benfica's Iván Saponjic, who they have followed since his brilliant showing at the U20 World Cup in 2015.
Saponjic, 21, has been compared to Mario Mandzukic and is expected in Madrid on Monday to complete his move and join his new teammates in preseason.
He will compete for a spot with Félix , Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata for a spot in Diego Simeone's side.
