The Turkish playmaker was a disastrous signing and has been involved in no end of scandals since moving to Istanbul Basaksehir in 2018.
After not fitting in at Barca they hoped he would find his footing elsewhere but instead has only caused moe problems.
What Barcelona are hoping is that this story has reached its end now, and it seemed like it has. Three months to go.
Elsewhere there are cases like Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal - who will leave in the summer - while other stars like Luis Suarez and Leo Messi have contracts until 2021, so aren’t a problem.
