The speedy winger failed the initial test he took in England and is awaiting the results of a second one

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Adama Traoré didn't train with the Spain squad at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas after he tested positive for COVID-19 in England. He'll remain there until he gets the results from a second test.

Traoré had previously been called up by the national team in 2019 but withdrew from the squad due to an injury. Now, almost a year to the day since that call, he looks set to miss out on making his senior debut for Spain.

Adama had a fantastic season in the Premier League

The La Masia graduate was one of the best players in the Premier League last season. The 24-year-old, who possesses physical attributes most players don't, won over Luis Enrique and will feature for Spain if his second test is negative. This is according to 'MARCA'.

Adama becomes the second Spanish player to test positive for coronavirus after Mikel Oyarzabal.
