Atletico striker Diego Costa on Roma's radar
The Spanish-Brazilian striker is their ideal target to bolster the attack
It's not Diego Costa's year. He's played 13 games this season, scoring twice, although it hasn't stopped some of Europe's big sides wanting to bring him in. Roma is one of them.
In Italy various media outlets say that Paulo Fonseca's side want the Atletico Madrid striker to help their title bid next season. Dzeko is 34, and their top scorer with 12 goals. The other striker is Kalinic, on loan from Atletico this season, but the Croatian's performance has not been good - only used for 249 minutes.
The Madrid team are willing to listen to offers. Roma were interested back in 2013 but he stayed at Atletico, won the title and later went to Chelsea. He thrived there until clashing with Antonio Conte and was frozen out then sold back.
